Korea social Investment, a public-interest impact investment firm, announced on the 30th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Angle Company, a provider of AI-based enterprise innovation solutions. The two organizations will build a cooperative framework to leverage AI technologies to address social problems and invigorate the impact ecosystem.
Under the agreement, the parties will pursue collaboration across several areas, including: strengthening capabilities in impact investing and acceleration using AI; discovering, investing in, and scaling “impact AI” startups; and sharing infrastructure and facilitating talent exchanges. In particular, they plan to expand the scope of impact creation and enhance execution in solving social issues by harnessing AI and digital-platform technologies.
AI is emerging as a core element of business operations that goes beyond simple automation to support strategic decision-making. Of special note are “AI agents”—intelligent software systems that autonomously pursue goals and solve problems without user intervention—which are drawing attention as powerful tools for addressing social challenges.
Angle Company develops practical, execution-focused AI agents designed for easy adoption. Its solutions help solo founders and small and medium-sized enterprises operate sustainable businesses without complex technical infrastructure. The company’s proprietary “DEUS AI” autonomously analyzes, executes, and improves workflows based on data, boosting the efficiency of repetitive tasks and, in turn, contributing to job creation.
Angle Company CEO Park Jae-beom is a leading Korean IT expert who led the development of Kakao Map during his tenure at Daum Communications and later served as CTO at Coocha and Happytalk. He is now focused on transforming enterprise operations through AI-agent technology.
Founded in 2012, Korea social Investment is a public-interest impact investment firm that provides investment, acceleration, and ESG consulting to startups and social-innovation organizations tackling societal problems. It has strengths in climate tech, social services, agtech, and global initiatives, and has deployed a cumulative ₩72.2 billion in impact capital to date.
Korea social Investment believes AI can play a pivotal role in improving service accessibility, operational efficiency, and personalized support across sectors such as healthcare, climate-crisis response, and care services. Reflecting this view, it has invested in companies including Tuat (투아트), which offers AI-based accessibility solutions for people with visual impairments; DeepVisions (딥비전스), a developer of fine-dust measurement technology; and Seed& (씨드앤), which provides AI- and cloud-based building-energy control technology—thereby validating technology-driven models for solving social issues.
“This is a new attempt to broaden the intersection of social value and technology,” said Lee Soon-yeol, Co-CEO of Korea social Investment. “This collaboration will support the tangible growth of impact-AI startups and enhance the innovativeness of our investment and acceleration programs.” Park Jae-beom, CEO of Angle Company, added, “We are entering an era where AI becomes a partner in solving social problems, not just a technology. Through our collaboration, we aim to deliver concrete results across the impact ecosystem.”
